"Lightscape" is an interactive and performative installation depicting the landscape seen by an migrant during his journey.
Tracking his GPS location, the artwork uses landscapes' pictures from the social network Flicker and live weather forecast service, trying to show colors and light as faithful as possible.
The top part of the device stands for the sky, the bottom part visualizes the soil and the mechanical part represents the silhouette in the landscape.
The weather forecast animates the visual show.
Technologies: OpenFrameworks, Arduino, Python scripts.
